Terms & Conditions

Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Applicants should have:

• 1+ year of experience writing custom (X)HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Expertise in writing semantic, modular front end code using HTML5, CSS3, and W3C coding practices is a must.
• Understanding of the concepts of progressive enhancement, mobile-first, and future-friendly design.
• Experience with Sass/SCSS and HTML frameworks (Bootstrap)
• Working knowledge of Flexbox or CSS Grid
• Exceptional care for detail
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• Experience with version control tools like Git or SVN and working in a team

Although not required, any of the following would be considered a plus:

• Knowledge of BEM methodology
• Experience with build tools like Webpack and Gulp
• Knowledge of Javascript frameworks like Vue, Angular, React...
• Experience with Twig or Smarty templating engines
• Custom Themeing in WordPress, Drupal, or Magento
• Basic understanding of LAMP stack
